AzartPlay (Aplay) Online Casino Review
Back when I first joined the gambling industry, I used to pick an online casino randomly without much care of the reputation, or the safety of my information.
I had little regard for the reviews, which I later came to find out are one of the best considerations to check when selecting an online casino.
Remember, as an online gamer, you have no physical contact with an online casino, and one of the avenues that many players use to vent their frustrations should a casino fail to meet their expectations is on online forums.
Fast forward to 2020, and I’m a more educated and informed gamer, and there are a number of things that I always check on any online casino prior to investing any cash there.
I have also made it my duty to share my experience with other gamers so as to help you make informed choices.
Today, I will talk about my experience with a new online casino that has already changed its name from AzartPlay casino to Aplay.
Read on to see if this casino will be on your checklist, the next time you want to explore a new online casino.
Given that the casino is relatively new in the market, it must find a way to break even, as this industry is already too overcrowded.
Well, it seems like Aplay online casino has found a way to entice new players, and this is by offering them unbelievably generous bonuses. But, are these bonuses worth taking? Let us find out below:
At Aplay online casino, you will be awarded a Welcome Bonus immediately you make your first FIVE deposits. In total, we are looking at a possibility of about 300% in cash prizes (max of €1500) + 200 Free Spins.
The Welcome Bonus requires that you make a minimum first deposit of €20 EUR, €50 EUR for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th deposits. The free spins will require a minimum first deposit of €10.
This is how it works:
1st dep - 100% Welcome Bonus + 25 Free Spins: to be used in Sakura Fortune.
2nd dep- 50% Welcome Bonus +50 Free Spins: to be used in Warlords Crystals of Power.
3rd dep- 25% Welcome Bonus+ 50 Free Spins: to be used in Vikings Go Berzerk.
4th dep- 25% Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins: to be used in Blood Sucker 2.
5th dep- 100% Welcome Bonus + 25 Free Spins: to be used in Golden Fishtank.
I have no complaint to make regarding the Welcome Bonus, but what I find a little off, is the way Aplay has categorised this bonus. It is clear that this casino is hoodwinking players into making more deposits.
A few days into this casino, it was my birthday and I was excited to get a message from Aplay offering me a birthday gift. The said birthday gift was a €40 token. However, my excitement was soon gone after I realised that this online casino wanted me to make a bonus so as to receive the gift!
My Favourite Bonuses
Aplay online casino offers lots of promotional bonuses on their site. However, most of these come with strings attached, and in most scenarios, a deposit will most likely be involved!
Some of the bonuses that you will come across include a VIP Club, a cashback of up to 10 %, and the system of points, among a few others. I enjoyed two of such bonuses which are the Bonus Weekends and the Fast Battles.
Fast Battles is particularly convenient for me since I have very little time during the week. So, a small break of like 30-minutes is not bad to get some entertainment.
The Bonus Weekend gave me a relaxing weekend, and I also go the opportunity to increases my deposit by up to 20%.
However, Aplay has serious communication breakdown, and the information on wagering requirements on some of these bonuses is unavailable. Additionally, bets made for video poker, table games, as well as arcade games have only a 5% contribution to the wagering requirements. Roulette is even worse, and it has a 0% contribution!
Aplay online casino offers a number of banking options. Depending on the method that you find most convenient, you can choose between credit cards, e-wallets or even a debit card to make a deposit.
However, their banking page has more questions than answers, and there is no clear information on which payment modes are used to withdraw, and the ones for making deposits.
Information touching on the minimum and maximum deposits limits are simply non-existent here.
The only information that I came across, talks about the monthly withdrawal limits. This information is quite scanty, and it appears in the terms and conditions section. Monthly limits at Aplay casino are set at €100,000, but no information about the withdrawal processing times seems forthcoming.
If you wish to make a withdrawal exceeding €1,000, you must undergo mandatory identity verification. This will definitely bring a delay (sometimes up to 48 hours) to the processing of your funds, something that is quite frustrating with this casino.
I also noticed that if you make a deposit, and then decide to withdraw it without any wagering, it will be subjected to a 5% fee.
Awful Customer Service
Aplay offers different communication platforms that include live chat and email. First and foremost, their live chat, which is supposed to be the fastest mode of communication on any online casino, is not available round the clock.
Second, there is no clear information on the fate of the player’s accounts that remain dormant. However, as I was digging for information, I came across some details that suggest that Aplay online casino suspends all accounts that remain dormant for more than 6 months.
This is actually done without any notice to the owner, and if there is any money in that account, it will be forfeited to the company.
After a few plays here, I made some small profit, and since I was just trying out the casino, I decided it was time to call it quits. So I requested Aplay casino’s customer support to assist me in permanently closing my account.
To my shock, the lady I communicated with said that it was simply impossible, as the casino does not allow permanent closure of gaming accounts. According to their terms and conditions, article 12.1 indicates that “A player can apply for closing his account by sending an email to the support service [email protected]"
When I contacted the support with this information, here is the response that I got from them:
"This paragraph of the rules indicates what the player needs to do to block the account, but not the terms and conditions of blocking. Your account may be blocked for 7 days. You can apply for a profile lock after it is unlocked. The second time the account wants to be blocked for 14 days. "
This was a shocker to me, and I would like to warn everyone who is hoping to join Aplay online casino as a player. The moment you create an account here, you will not be able to permanently close it when you wish to.
Aplay online casino has some potential but could do better. The casino gets some marks for offering generous bonuses that also come with multiple deposit matches, not to forget the many free spins.
Regular players can enjoy multiple weekly promotions, while VIP Club members have a lot in store for them. I particularly loved the casino’s themed slots games that gave me the incentive to keep playing.
However, Aplay casino lets itself down in a number of ways. First, their lack of a dedicated banking page looks very suspicious. With no clear information on player’s funds, Aplay online casino lacks clarity, which makes a lot of players sceptical regarding the safety of their deposits and withdrawals. This actually affects withdrawals more.
After all, who wants to join an online casino where they are not sure if, how and when they will receive their money?
Something else that really caught my eye is the discovery of two more Aplay domains. One is a '.ru' and the second one a' .biz'. Although they are currently dormant, these two domains are believed to have been founded and registered way before the .com version of this casino was launched.
The two older domains were registered by the Curacao regulator, and since such a licence does not allow any online casino to offer Greentube/Novomatic games, the games that were in there were simply pirated.
Just to make sure that these two were connected, I tried verifying the traffic that was coming through both the '.ru' and '.biz', and surprisingly, these two domains redirected to the Aplay.com website. Although I am not sure whether these are all owned by one entity, it is clear that there is some direct connection between them.
Aplay.com may be offering genuine games, but their close association with the other two sites, which have a history of offering plagiarized slots, raises eyebrows.
Sure you thoroughly read this casino’s terms and conditions before making any cash deposit.
