Aladdin and the Sorcerer Slot Review (Pragmatic Play)
Although this theme is already overused, Pragmatic Play’s has made it look more interesting with the creation of this unique slot that takes us on a tour to the Middle East.
Aladdin and the Sorcerer are set on the usual 5 reels and 20 fixed lines. The top price with this slot is 2,000x total stake ($200,000). The slot has an RTP of 96.23%.
However, I also noticed that this slot is highly volatile, and it is important to look into that before you commit funds to it.
Aladdin and the Sorcerer have a number of features including my favourite, which are the free spins and random wilds.
Betting and Prizes
I like the way Pragmatic Play has made it possible for players of all levels to enjoy this game by offering very low pricing. Bets here start from $0.20 all the way to $100 per spin.
To get the best reward with Aladdin and the Sorcerer, you will need to use winning combinations as these have the potential to get you up to 50x ($5,000) per betting line. If you consider the number of bet lines available on this slot, coupled with multipliers from the re-spins, there is potential to reach up to 2,000x ($200,000).
According to Pragmatic Play, their volatility scale for this slot is 4.5 out of 5; this indicates a highly volatile game.
Aladdin and the Sorcerer Slot Features
On the part of game features, Pragmatic Pay has not done very badly here and there are a number of them available. For example, in the middle three columns, I occasionally came across wild symbols which I was able to use (as substitutes) to form new combinations. These also have good payout potential when used to land on the other reels.
The two common symbols that I got to see here are the Aladdin and Sorcerer. These two appear on reel 5. If only one of them appears, then the game will give you only 6 random wilds.
If both Aladdin and Sorcerer symbols appear, the two reels will be covered by wilds, and this is what will trigger the re-spins.
I like the creativity that Pragmatic Play has applied in the Re-Spin mode: here the two characters battle it out and If Aladdin loses, the feature comes to an end but if he manages to win, then the game continues to level 2.
Level 2 Re-Spins require 3 rounds after which the locked wilds get awarded 2x multipliers. The last level is the third re-spin that will award you with a 3x multiplier.
Theme & Design
The storyline is that of Aladdin whom we get to see fighting an evil Sorcerer. In the background, we also get to see an Arabic city. Surprisingly, the symbols on the slot’s reels do not seem to be related to the story. However, the design is top-notch as is the case with most other developments from Pragmatic Play.
There are other symbols like gemstones, and some are just regular while others have golden borders on them.
Aladdin and the Sorcerer is not a game that I can fault easily because everything seems to fall into place. It has an excellent RTP as well as great graphics, but my only problem is its lack of potential given the low payout available for such a highly volatile game.
