Annihilator (Play n Go)
It looks like Play n GO has dedicated a whole series of some of their branded slots to heavy metal. Their previous title game in this series was the Testament slot.
Annihilator is the latest to join this series, and it draws its inspiration from a Canadian heavy metal band. This band has been around for more than 3 decades.
Annihilator is a 5 reel slot that also comes with 10 lines. The slot pays up to 5,000x the stake. This means that on a lucky day, you can walk home with up to $500,000 per spin.
It is important to note that this slot machine is highly volatile although it also has a decent RTP of 96.20%.
Among the features that are present on Annihilator include several scatters, a picking bonus game, wild symbols, as well as free spins.
Betting and Prizes
Bet values vary but they are between $0.10 and $100 per spin. This is to say that the slot allows up to $10 line bets.
It’s a good figure to have in a slot machine which has high volatility, and the developer made sure that it will pay an acceptable amount back long-term as well.
Although Play n Go has announced an RTP of 96.20% for this slot, always ensure you check with the individual casino as the developer allows online casinos to revise it down.
Annihilator Slot Features
The wild symbol is represented by the Annihilator. This symbol appears in the form of Jeff Waters. You can use it as a substitute for the regular symbols.
However, it is also possible for the wild symbol to form its own wins of up to five symbols. This can pay about 40x the stake.
Annihilator has some scatter symbols as well. This is what you will use to trigger the free spins. The scatter symbols on this slot are also known as Set the World on Fire. If you use the wild reel to play, the feature will award you 8 rounds.
There is another scatter that appears on the middle columns of the game. If you are lucky to have all the three, then Annihilator will allow you to trigger a picking feature known as Fun Palace. This comes with some additional rewards of up to 50x.
There is a random feature as well, and this one is called In Command. If any wild is still visible within the slot’s reels after you trigger this feature, the visible wilds will expand and cover the reels.
Theme & Design
As I have already mentioned, Annihilator’s design is inspired by heavy metal design. This is a brand based in Canada and one that has been around for a very long time.
The images that Play n Go has used here blend well with the theme of the game. These images include some creepy characters, scary dolls, blood-coloured guitars, and some metal Royals to represent low-value symbols.
When Play n Go developed Annihilator, they may have had fans of the Canadian metal band in mind.
However, I’m not a fan of the said band but I enjoyed playing this slot game. The only thing you need is to be a fan of the horror genre, and you are good to go.
