Arcane Reel Chaos: A Review from a Real Gamer
Arcane Reel Chaos is a superhero-themed slot from the king of slots, NetEnt. The slot game is a recent addition to NetEnt long list of games and it was recently launched in casinos (May 16th 2019) to be precise.
Arcane Reel Chaos consists of 5 reels with 3 rows and 20 paylines. With this slot game, you are allowed to place bets of between 20p and £200 across all platforms. For the base game, there are a total of 4 random bonus features, with each representing a superhero and their prowess.
The game has a free spins feature which is classified into 4 different stages/ levels). With this feature, a player stands a chance to reap up to 4 times from a multiplier. There is an additional bonus payout if you are good enough to beat level 4.
Slot games from NetEnt are my favourite but this review is based on the personal experience I had after registering for Arcane Reel Chaos using my smartphone.
Arcane Reel Chaos RTP
Before starting on any slot game, I always check their features and especially their RTP percentage just in case things go against my wish. The RTP on Arcane: Reel Chaos slot is 96.81%, this percentage is a little high than the industry average.
I was also quick to note that Arcane Reel Chaos is a medium variance slot game and this means that the game is a well-rounded slot with good income potential.
On the graphics side, NetEnt does not leave anything to chance and the brand new interface that they have incorporated in this game is quite an eye- catching. There are also notable changes with the interface and what we were used to before e.g. “coin value” is now referred to as “cash value”.
What symbols are in Arcane Reel Chaos?
I could say that “crime pays” in this game because, the Deep Pockets, Super Villain is the highest paying symbol. In the second place are the 4 superheroes and finally the normal low-value symbols whose pay I have indicated below:
Deep Pockets - The evil archvillain pays 50x for 5 on a payline
Flare - Pays 25x for 5 on a payline
Zero.X - Pays 15x for 5 on a payline
Chrono - Pays 10x for 5 on payline
Psyop - Pays 7.5 xs for 5 on payline
Card Suit symbols - Pays between 4x and 2x for 5 on a payline
The bonus features
In Arcane Reel Chaos, the superheroes were the most common and they appeared randomly in the base game to give me some little help with their superpowers. This is how it worked out:
Psyop Stacked Wild – this gave me either 2 or 3 reels stacked with wilds
Zero.x Overlay Wilds – this gave me between 3 and 5 random wilds
Flare Multiplier – with this one I got a boost of 3 xs to 5 xs on my winnings
Chrono Respin – this only assisted me after I had lost a spin. It was one of my best experiences because with it I was able to earn some re-spins up to the moment when I landed a winning combo. Every re-spins that I made came with a multiplier of 1x and sometimes it would go as high as the maximum which is 10xs.
What is the maximum jackpot you can expect with Arcane Reel Chaos?
Sorry to disappoint you but with this slot, there is no progressive jackpot. NetEnt has devised other means through which you can make some good profits. The max win is with the Chronos re-spin feature. If it’s your lucky day, then you can win with the 10xs multiplier which can enable you to walk away with a cool 2 million pounds. Of course, you will need to use the maximum stake which is £200. This is quite a handsome amount of cash for a slot with medium variance.
My final thoughts
This slot game is quite enjoyable and you will enjoy it even more if you are a fan of superheroes and archvillains. It seems NetEnt had put some serious thought into the whole story and it makes Arcane Reel Chaos slot one of the best slot that has the potential to make a player some serious cash. Overall, my experience was good, I loved the graphics and I have nothing much to complain about with this slot.
