Aurora Wild Slot Review
Aurora Wilds is a slot game that was developed by Neon Valley and is exclusively available on Microgaming operators. Aurora Wilds is a Native-American inspired video slot that comes with 5 reels and 10 lines.
This game has an RTP of 96.20%, which is an indication of good payout to players. The maximum payout that Aurora pays is 2,000xs which translates to about $120,000 (the maximum wagering amount is $60). I’m always on the lookout for new slots and here is my experience with Aurora Wilds.
Betting and Prizes
Aurora Wilds has 10 active lines with a bet range of between $0.10 and $60. With such an arrangement, it means that you can spend $6 per each active line.
I love jackpots and with Aurora Wilds, I was spoilt for choice as the slot offers a total of four fixed jackpots. These four are the Grand, Major, Minor and the smallest which is the Mini. The Grand Jackpot pays 2,000x top followed by the others at 100xs, 50xs and 15x respectively.
Aurora Wilds Slot Features
This new slot by Neon Valley has a Bonus Wheel, expanding wilds (major feature) as well as a re-spins feature. You can use the expanding wheels as substitutes.
As you continue to use the expanding wilds, the wild will expand and trigger a re-spin. With the re-spin, you will notice that the wild reel is locked in position. If you get more wilds during the re-spin, then the feature will work continuously.
If you stop getting new wild symbols then re-spins will automatically stop. The highest number of spins that you can get at a go is 3 given that; there are only 3 reels on Aurora Wilds that can get expanding wilds.
The slot also has scatters that appear as Jackpot Wheels. Remember in this game, there are four jackpots and if you are lucky enough to acquire three gold Wheel symbols all showing at the same time, you walk home with one of the available jackpots.
Theme & Design
Aurora Wilds theme is a mix of different items but the most part of the slot consists of drawings from Native-America wild animals. On the graphics part, I found the slot very boring since the design is of low quality and not something that will excite you into playing it.
On the low-value symbol, Aurora Wilds uses symbols that include drawings of birds native to America. Some are fish, birds, turtles, horses, and rabbits. For the high-value symbols, I came across classics like the Bar logos and the Red 7s. There are additional symbols that you can use to trigger features and most come in the form of the feathered diamond as well as a Jackpot Wheel.
I have played several slots from Microgaming and I am sorry to say that, with Aurora Wilds, I was not impressed at all. The features are too basic and shallow and given the slot’s medium to low variance, its RTP does not help much.
