Aztec Gold: Extra Gold Megaways Slot (iSoftBet)
Aztec Gold: Extra Gold Megaways is an addition to the long list of iSoftBet slots. Much of what happens on this title is a continuation of its predecessor that was released back in 2019.
A majority of it is a replica of the original game, but I also noticed a few additions, especially in the features section.
It appears like a title that has a lot to offer, and here is my review:
The game features 6 reels, with up to 117,649 active Megaways.
For its major features, Aztec Gold Extra Megaways offers a Hold & Win bonus game that is responsible for the respins, wilds, Mystery symbols, cascading reels, and random bonuses.
Betting and Prizes
You may mistake this slot for an expensive game, but in the real sense, this is not the case.
In most cases, you will find a lot of games in this group going for a fixed betting amount, which is the case here.
You will need between $0.20 and $20 that will cover its 117,649 ways to win.
Aztec Gold: Extra Gold offers a generous payout, and you can get as much as 20,000x the stake. This is slightly higher than the 19,200x that was offered by the original.
With the maximum bet amount, you could walk away with up to $400,000 from a single bet.
The game offers medium-high volatility, with an RTP of 96%.
Aztec Gold Extra Gold Megaways Slot Features
The Megaways system is one of the obvious features that will give you 6 reels and up to 117,649 ways to win.
Then there is the cascading wins mechanic, which removes the winning symbols, replacing them with new ones. This will go on as long as new combos are being formed.
Wild symbols are present in the middle four reels, and they act as substitutes. However, these will not deliver any wins on their own.
Mystery symbols are another of the features that are available in this slot. When they show up, they transform all the symbols where they pass into one single type of regular symbol.
The developer has given this title random features which come in two versions,
One is the Max Megaways that offers you a full game area (6 reels with 7 symbols per round).
Then there is the other version known as Sun Disc Boost. This one comes loaded with random scatters that boost your chances of enjoying a bonus feature.
The last feature is the Hold & Win bonus game. You will need the help of the scatters to activate it, and once you do, the slot will reward you with some cash values. You require up to 5 scatters to activate the feature.
Theme & Design
The original Aztec Gold game has a lot of high-end graphics, and it is the same case with the Megaways title.
This title focuses mainly on Aztec civilization, and the developer has retained most of the graphics.
Apart from the usual Royals (9 to A), other icons present as part of the symbols include images of the Shaman, Eagle, Snake, Tiger, scatters, as well as Wilds.
Aztec Gold: Extra Gold Megaways is a great slot title, and you will love it more if you are a fan of the Megaways concept.
Although there are a few notable changes, there isn’t any major improvement from the original.
As a medium slot with decent RTP, I can recommend it to all players.
