Boilin’ Pots Slot (Yggdrasil)
Boilin’ Pots is a Yggdrasil release, and the slot comes with a lot of unique features, and a unique mechanic.
There is an entire collection of slots of this kind from the developer, and all of them come with lots of goodies.
I will walk you through what you can expect from Boilin’ Pots in the review below:
Initially, you will be working just 5x3 reels, but as you get deeper into the game the grid may expand where you may end up with up to 16,807 ways to win.
Features inside include scatters, wilds, Rising Reels spins, and Wild Respins among others.
Betting and Prizes
The real money wagers here start from a low of $0.10 to a high of $40 per spin. Boilin’ Pots offers very decent payouts and the slot can pay as much as10,114x the stake.
This is a good level of payment for the slot which comes with very high volatility. I’m also satisfied with the decent RTP of 96% that the developer has given it.
Boilin’ Pots Slot Features
Yggdrasil always surprises us with some creative designs, and the Boilin’ Pots set-up happens on the side of a cauldron that is full of some boiling green potion.
It is a slot with the ability to expand, and this will likely happen when you land some arrow symbols (these go on to add an extra row of symbols). The MAX that you can get is 16,807 ways to win, and this will only be after you get to the maximum size of 7 rows (5x7 setup).
Then there are the Wild Respins, and to activate the feature, you need to simultaneously gather at least 4 Arrows on each of the reels. This feature will keep on retriggering, a process that will deliver more respins if new combos keep on forming.
The Toadstool Wild will be on standby to help substitute the regular symbols as you form new combinations.
Other Boilin’ Pots feature is the scatter, and these symbols help you trigger a prize. With 3 to 4 scatters visible on the reels, you get to trigger some free spins and prizes of up to 100x the stake.
Yggdrasil has used the Hold & Win version of the bonus feature, and with it, you get started with 3 spins. With more symbols landing on the reels, the feature resets. One thing that I noticed is that the middle row with a 5x7 setup becomes active, and to get paid or reset the spins, you must land some symbols there.
Inside, you get two versions of symbols: the Win variant pays between 100x and 5,000x the stake, while the Cash symbols will offer payments of between 1x and 50x. With this feature, you can expect a payment of at least 5xs the stake.
Theme & Design
There is a huge boiling cauldron, and inside are some vile greenish potions common with witches. The dark design perfectly fits the theme of the slot (witch-theme), and the quality is equally good.
The slot has pretty good symbols (a few have gemstones though). They include a Book, a hand, a portion, eyeballs, wings, and mandrake root. There is the wild Toadstool as well.
Boilin’ Pots offers a very fair payout, and Yggdrasil has given it some very interesting features. The graphics are of high quality as well, and everything seems to be in order here. It’s a great slot and one that is suitable for all levels of players.
