Already, we have had the privilege to tackle several Book style slot games, and this new slot from Betsoft adds to the long list of slots that borrow from this genre.

The new slot goes by the title Book of Helios, and it comes with a few goodies that include advanced free spins that make the whole gameplay enjoyable.

In this review, I will be taking you through what you can expect from the slot that also suggests a connection to the popular Greek gods, and especially the Sun God (one of the Titans).

At first, you will get to work with the usual features that are common in these types of games.

One such feature is the mixed scatter/wild icon that appears as a Book. The only notable difference is that you will only get it on the 2^nd to the 4^th reels. Therefore, it has no ability to pay you directly.

To trigger the free spins, I needed to land at least three Book icons on the reels. This way, the slot rewarded me with 10 free spins. Initially, the slot will pick a regular symbol and expand it. Afterwards, the special symbol will cover the reels upon reaching the end of the round. If you are lucky to get 2-3 or more of these, you will get paid.

One of the most special things that I came across in the game is The Book of Helios symbol. When it lands, it will expand on its reel. The symbol will apply a multiplier of between 1x and 5x to its wins. Since multiplier values get multiplied by each other, it means that the three wild combinations will deliver a boost of as much as 125x.

Theme & Design

The design is quite impressive, and I fell in love with the beautiful image of Helios that is well placed on top, plus the stone horse statues on both sides of the slot.

From the design of the premium symbols, you can tell that the design here is nothing but remarkable.

The symbols inside include six low-value Royals (9 to A), plus four premium ones that include a whip, a modern female adventurer, a bow and arrow and Helios himself.

Conclusion

From what I experienced playing Book of Helios, I can say that it’s a slot worth checking out, especially if you are into the Book-style genre.
