Book of Pharao Slot (Amatic)

Book of Pharao Slot (Amatic)Amatic has made its own clone from the famous Book of Ra genre, and this slot goes by the title, Book of Pharao.  This slot uses the same features, and it also borrows inspiration from the same theme.

Below is my review of Book of Pharao:

Game Set-Up

I started by checking the slot’s setup, and I noticed that Amatic has used the common 5 reel design for Book of Pharao. There are 10 active lines that you can use to get great rewards.

Among its features are mixed wilds/scatters, free spins (comes with special expanding symbols), randomly Powerspins, among others.

Betting and Prizes

The game requires the use of all the 10 active lines, and as such, prizes of between 1 to 50 coins can go to the lines. The slot allows the use of between 10 and 500 coins.

There seems to be a standard payout with this type of slot, and from the many that I have encountered, most, if not all pay up to 500x total stake(per active line).

When combined, we are talking of up to 5,000x total stake, which is very fair.

The slot is very high in volatility, and it’s the usual case with most high paying slot machines.

Book of Pharao Slot Features

It’s quick to notice that a majority of games from this genre uses similar features; however, the Book of Pharao has done it differently.

The most notable of these features is the Book of Pharao, which acts as both wild, and a scatter.

When used as a wild, the symbol must appear on active lines, close to enough regular symbols that must also resemble each other. This makes it very easy to form combinations.

When used as a scatter, you will require at least three Books that must also appear in a single round/spin. Landing on 3 Book scatters will deliver 10 free spins and a 2x prize. 4 Books will give 15 free spins plus a 20x prize, while 5 Books will earn you 20 free spins, and an additional prize of 200x the stake.

During free spins mode, a random symbol will be selected by the Book, and it will enable it to expand each time it appears.

Powerspins are present as well, and these will help to randomly trigger up to 5 rounds. An extra 1-2 bonus symbols may appear on random reels.

Theme & Design

Book of Pharao comes with the usual Ancient-Egypt theme, a common inspiration for most Book-style slots.

For its design, Amatic would have done much better, considering that this category is already overcrowded.

Symbols present include the Book icon, Horus, Pharaoh, Ankh, Scarab, and a few Royals.

Book of Pharao does not seem to deliver anything unique, and what I see here is the same design, and features that are used in other slots from the Book genre. The only unique thing that Amatic has added is the random Powerspins.

I find the graphics to be very poor in quality, and this is a game that I can only recommend to casual players.
