Brawl at the Redcap Inn Slot (Yggdrasil)

Brawl at the Redcap Inn Slot (Yggdrasil)Medieval fantasy is one of the most popular genres with slot gamers and this is due to its high level of enjoyment.

There is a long list of movies, video games, and TV series that borrow from this genre, and this I enough proof that it is an idea loved by many people.

Brawl at the Redcap Inn is the newest from Yggdrasil’s and they have developed this title in partnership with Dreamtech.

The slot offers an interesting story that revolves around part of the daily life happening at the Redcap Inn.

As the title suggests, the slot is all about a brawl between visitors at the inn. I had the opportunity to play this interesting slot, and this is my unbiased review:

Game Set-Up

Brawl at the Redcap Inn provides a dual reel setup that also comes with 50 lines on each. On each round, you can get up to 100 lines.

The slot’s major features are the Wild Swap mechanic, stacked symbols, Free Spins, multiplier wilds, as well as some sticky wilds.

Betting and Prizes

While placing a real money wager, I was allowed to pick the total bet, without necessarily using the 100 coins for this. This makes the wagering process quite easy because I only got to work with what I could afford. The betting range is between $0.20 and $40 per spin.

Although high in volatility, Brawl at the Redcap Inn volatile offers attractive top payouts, and as much as 9,224x the stake can be paid from one spin. This translates to about $368,960. RTP is great too, and at 96.04%, it is within the average offered by a majority of modern slots.

Brawl at the Redcap Inn Slot Features

I noticed that the slot offers two sets of reels that you play on, and they appear side by side, although separated by a thicker wooden boundary. Each one forms its own combos, but with certain features showing up, they can also interact.

Brawl at the Redcap Inn is rich in features, and among them are the stacked symbols.

Then we have the Wild Swap, and on getting the wild symbols to land on one of the two available sets of reels, the Swap mechanic will imitate this on the other set as well, and in a similar position.

It is even better when the wild symbols simultaneously land on both sets, and in the same location. This is because both of them will get a 5x multiplier applied on their wins.

The Held Wild Free Spins are my favourite feature here, and they work in a very interesting and unique way. The notable difference lies in the fact that, for the period of the 10 spins you go through, the wilds will remain in sticky form.

Theme & Design

A slot with two sets of reels, plus a total of 100 active lines has a lot going on. The design of this game is very good, and I loved both the high-paying symbols (dwarfs, barbarians, orcs, trolls, and goblins) as well as the lower-paying Royals (10 to A Royals). The top icons show the images of the Mug of Ale (Scatter) and the Brawling Warrior (Wild).

Brawl at the Redcap Inn is superb, and I’m happy that Yggdrasil has managed to make it a very unique game.

The big wins, excellent features, and a large game area make it an excellent slot for all levels of players.

However, you also need to approach it with caution given its vicious volatility.
