The game has some pretty good features, and among them is the expanding wild that comes with an image of a Golden God. This feature covers the entire reel where it lands, which allows it to contribute in all ways to win, without paying much attention to the symbols forming regular combos.

However, the feature will still need the rest of the symbols to complete the combo. If other wilds appear left to right, it will create combinations that can pay 4.16x the stake (this is for a full combo) or (1,000x for a screen filled with wilds).

The scatter feature was my next stop. I love this feature because of its potential, and with only two scatters landing at the same time, I received the X Up token. This in return boosted the multiplier trail on the left side of the reels.

Chronicles of Olympus X UP features the Greek deities and their place of habitat.

A Golden God serves as the expanding wild, while Scatters appear as Premium symbols in the images of five deities. Royals (10 to A) are present to represent the low-value icons.

Conclusion

Overall, Chronicles of Olympus X is a very enjoyable, fun and interesting slot, albeit a little volatile.

I find this level of volatility a little awkward coming from a developer like Microgaming who rarely deliver such.

Overall, it’s a great slot title with lots of potential provided that you can handle its high volatility.
