Deal or No Deal MegaWays (Blueprint)
Deal or No Deal: MegaWays is another slot from Blueprint Gaming. It’s a very innovative slot game, but this is not the first time that this developer is attempting it.
The slot is branded, and it’s based on the popular TV game show, a show that has been with us for far too long.
Given the popularity of the TV show, it was imperative to try my hand on the slot version of the show, and here is my review:
Game Set-Up
Deal or No Deal Megaways uses the usual set up of 6 reels, which is quite common with the Megaways concept. The maximum Megaways/ways to win that this slot offers are 117,649.
Deal or No Deal offers several features, and these will come via the Cascading Reels mechanic.
Other features that you will get along the way include a Bonus, Super and several Mega features. Wilds, as well as Free spins, are also available.
Betting and Prizes
I have noticed that Blueprint offers a certain betting range for most of their Megaways slots. For Deal or No Deal, the highest amount that you can use per spin is $10, while the lowest is of $0.20 per spin.
However, due to the high potential of the slot, the developer has capped with winning at 10,000 xs, which means that the highest possible payout is $100,000, per spin.
For a slot that has medium to high volatility, Blueprint Gaming could have done better with the RTP which is 95.34%.
Deal or No Deal MegaWays Slot Features
Just like we have seen on a majority of other Megaways, Deal or No Deal uses a random number of symbols. Each round the number of symbols will appear randomly, but it will be between 2 and 7.
Given that there are 6 reels available, as many as 117,649 ways to win are possible. On the middle four reels, you will notice an additional reel that runs horizontally, this will also display the symbols.
Wild symbols are present as well but on the slot’s top four middle reels.
The mystery icons appear in the form of a Question Mark logo. Wherever they appear, they will transform other symbols into one icon.
Cascading Reels is increasingly becoming the preferred style on most slot games, and Blueprint has considered it as well.
On this slot, you can use it to get extra wins, in addition to assisting with unlocking features.
4, 5 or 6 Cascading Reels will enable you to enjoy the Bonus (in form of cash and free spins), Super (additional free spins) or in other instances, some Mega features.
Free spins have more advantages, and with their help, the multiplier will be unlimited.
As you advance on the game, you will get to a level that will allow you to collect Crowns. With 15 Crowns, you can be able to trigger a Wheel King Bonus, which will deliver good prizes, and sometimes even the progressive jackpot.
Theme & Design
This slot is obviously inspired by a popular TV show, and the background is well decorated with glittering lights.
Royals are part of the symbols, and so are other icons like various boxes, logos, and cups.
Conclusion
Blueprint has done a good job with this branded slot machine. The payout is great, but the low RTP is something that will keep many players away.
Given the low RTP and the risk involved, I can only recommend this slot to casual players.
