Dorothy’s Fairland Slot (EGT)
Dorothy’s Fairland joins the long list of slots that use inspiration from The Wizard of Oz. This is a children’s book, that was written by Frank Baum, and later on turned into movies, TV series. Lately, it’s a great source for slot themes.
This new title by EGT does not disappoint, and here is a detailed review of the same:
In Dorothy’s Fairland, EGT has used 5 reels and up to 30 active lines.
The features are equally fascinating and they include stacked scatters, wilds, and free spins.
Betting and Prizes
The minimum bet amount is $0.30 while the maximum is $75 per spin.
EGT is not common with large wins, and so Dorothy’s Fairland will not deliver massive jackpots.
1000x the stake is the highest that the slot will offer, and the RTP of 95% does not help much.
Dorothy’s Fairland Slot Features
Oz is one of the major symbols present, and he acts as the wild. The wild appears in the image of a man in a hat and on the bottom part is the WILD logo.
You can use the wild alongside other regular symbols to form a winning combo. However, it’s not possible to use the wild in place of the scatters.
Dorothy’s Fairland offers the scatter feature, and it’s quite interesting to see it appear in a stacked form.
However, it will only appear in the middle three columns.
Here, scatters appear in the image of a sport the Emerald City, although they also have a scatter symbol.
It is the scatter symbol that you will use to trigger the free spins, and 7 will be required to do the job.
However, up to 9 scatters are possible, and depending on how many you land on the reels, the slot will reward you with either 7, 15 or 30 free spins.
Theme & Design
The Wizard of Oz is increasingly becoming very popular, and EGT has not been left behind.
I love the great design that the designer has used on this title, and the graphics are some of the clearest that I have seen from them.
For the symbol, I got to work with several memorable characters that appear in the book. These include Scarecrow, The Lion, Dorothy, and Tin Man.
Others include Air Shop, Oz, Emerald City and some low-value poker cards.
Dorothy’s Fairland lacks the standard features common with modern slot machines
However, there are a few details on it that enable you to enjoy it to some extent.
I’m also not very impressed with its low payout potential, and below-average RTP, and I can only recommend it to casual players.
