El Dorado The City of Gold Megaways Slot (Pragmatic Play)

El Dorado The City of Gold Megaways Slot (Pragmatic Play)El Dorado: The City of Gold Megaways slot machine is a sequel to a previous release by Pragmatic Play, and this time around, we are going for the Megaways setup.

With the Megaways concept, you get a totally different experience, and I will cover that in the review below:

Game Set-Up

As a Megaways title, El Dorado: The City of Gold offers 6 reels that hold up to 200,704 active Megaways.

It’s also rich in features and among them are wild symbols, tumbles, increasing multipliers, and free spins.

Betting and Prizes

On each wager, I could place bets of as little as $0.20 per spin, while the highest that it can get is $100 per spin.

The potential for real money payout is pretty high, and this is a common thing with Megaways games. Pragmatic Play offers up to 20,000x the stake (the original title offered 10,500x).

The new title also comes with higher volatility, but with a very fair RTP of 96.58%.

El Dorado: The City of Gold Megaways Slot Features

With the many Megaways, I was able to form combinations by matching icons that appear left to right, on at least 3 adjacent reels.

With a combo in place, the Tumble mechanic comes in to remove the winning icons, and replace them with new ones. The process goes on until there are no more wins.

The Priest serves as the wild symbol, and this will only appear on the top horizontal row of icons.

The other feature that I checked out is the Golden Temple symbol that serves as the scatter. With 4, 5 or 6 all appearing tat the same tie on the reels, I was rewarded with some free spins. Depending on the number of scatters landed you can get between 4 and 23 free spins, with 1x to 10x multipliers.

With a new batch of 3 scatters, you receive an additional 5 spins.

Theme & Design

El Dorado, the City of Gold, is a popular mythical city in South America, known for its great riches.

On the reels are symbols of an ancient priest, together with a princess and these two acts as the main symbols. Other symbols include Temple scatters, images of the Snake, Leopard, Frog, and Toucan. Five Royals (10 to A Royals) serve as low-value icons.

El Dorado: The City of Gold Megaways offers a completely different experience if we compare it to the original.

However, its brutal volatility makes it more suitable for players that are well versed with such types of slots.
