Eternal Phoenix Megaways Slot (Blueprint)
Eternal Phoenix Megaways is the newest from Blueprint Gaming, and the slot promises excellent rewards, and a fun and exciting gameplay.
The Megaways mechanism originated from Big Time Gaming and many developers have sought the license to include it in their games.
I’d say that Blueprint Gaming is among my favourite Megaways developer, and here is my journey as a real money gamer on this slot:
They went with 6 reels, and a Megaways system. This allows for up to 117,649 ways to win.
This medium to high volatility title offers some interesting features that include basic wilds, Mystery Eggs, paid Power Play feature, Free Spins (comes with progressive multipliers), and Cascading Reels.
Betting and Prizes
The bets here are somewhere between $0.10 and $10 per spin. I noticed that apart from these regular bets, there are other PowerPlay bets that I could activate. These are capable of paying between 1.5x and 5x the normal bet.
In return, the slot guarantees you some ways to win (ranging between 5,000+ to 20,000+).
Eternal Phoenix Megaways has the potential to pay extremely well, and I can say that it is one of the reasons that attracted me to try it. However, as usual with Megaways slots, it’s an extremely volatile game.
50,000x the stake jackpot is a possibility here, but you might not like the low RTP of 95.50% (the average for modern slots is 96%).
Eternal Phoenix Megaways Features
As a Megaways game, the 6 reels can get anywhere between 2 to 7 symbols each. An additional horizontal reel appears at the top of reels 2-5, and its work is to add more ways, as well as bring in some wild symbols.
Cascading Reels are there too, and their job is to remove the winning symbols and replace them with brand new ones. With additional cascades coming in, there is potential to land more wins.
There are wilds in play, but they're only available in the first four spots of the horizontal reel coming from the top of the screen. Still, they can be useful as replacement symbols from time to time.
In addition, I got to work with the mystery symbols as well. Actually, they're Mystery Eggs, and they work just as you'd expect, converting all of the game's symbols into a single random icon.
When it comes to the primary feature, you can receive up to 23 free spins by landing three or more scatter symbols on the reels. However, you can gamble your way to a total of 30 free spins.
While in the free spins mode, each time I received a winning combination, a multiplier was applied to my wins. The good news is that there is no limit to how high the multiplier can get.
Theme & Design
As you would expect from a game that is inspired by a Phoenix Bird, there's plenty of fire in its design.
There's some nice lava and fire design in the background, but the symbols on the reels are mostly made up of Royals and different stones that have various carved symbols. Scatters and Wilds are also present.
Overall, I enjoyed this game, mainly for its potential and wide range of features; and not so much for its aesthetics
If you enjoy the vicious volatility that is common with Megaways slots, then this new release by Blueprint is a great game to play.
