Flodder Slot (Red Tiger)

Flodder is the latest slot from Red Tiger, and this time around, we are getting a branded title from them. The slot draws its inspiration from a movie that was launched in the 80s, and also from a TV series which was popular between 1993 and 1998.

This is a Dutch movie with a couple of memorable characters, and an interesting storyline that includes part of an uneducated family, but one that ends up lucky to live in a much richer neighbourhood.

I’m quite impressed by how Red Tiger has implemented this story, and we will look into it in the honest review below:

Game Set-Up

Flodder offers the common 5x3 reels design with up to 25-win lines. It has some interesting features as well that include scatters, several variants of wilds, multipliers, as well as free spins.

Betting and Prizes

Don’t expect a very large betting range on this slot since Flodder only allows between $0.10 and $10 per spin.

When it comes to top payout, Flodder does pretty well, but their prizes may not be on the same level as other High volatility slots that we have previously seen. Red Tiger has given the slot a MAX jackpot of 7,564x the stake.

The disappointing part for real money players is in the RTP since the developer has only given it a 95.75% which is below the 96% mark that is common with modern slots.

For the features, Flodder offers several, and they include different variants (up to 3) of the wild. Irrespective of the available variant, these wilds serve as substitutes for other regular symbols.

You can also land the wilds with the help of some of the slot’s random features. One of the most helpful features is the Grandpa which can assist you to trigger up to 12 wilds.

Flodder’s main feature is the free spins, and to trigger these goodies, I needed to land at least 3 scatters on the reels. This way, the slot rewarded me with 10 free games that came accompanied by additional modifiers, and different variants of symbols. The slot allows you up to 3 picks, and with them, you get a couple of potential rewards like:

2 to 10 extra free spins;

A multiplier boost of up to 2x per pick (the highest it can get is 8x);

Theme & Design

Flodder draws its inspiration from the 1986 Dutch movie Flodder. You get a very interesting cast of characters that Red Tiger has designed in cartoon form.

The slot also offers good quality graphics that are typical of Red Tiger. For the symbols, we get to work with basic 10 to A Royals, plus up to five high-value symbols that come with images of the members of the family, plus their dog.

Conclusion

If you are a fan of this series, then you will definitely enjoy Flodder. However, if you are looking for a slot with higher returns or huge top jackpots, then this title may not be the best option for you.
