Forge of Gems Slot Features

To form winning combinations, I needed at least 3 symbols of the same kind landing left to right, and on adjacent columns. This way, I was able to trigger Cascading Reels. These are great at allowing extra chances of forming combos.

The cascading reels remove the winning symbols and drop new ones in their place. These cascades will go on until no new combos can be formed.

Then there are the wilds that can be used as substitutes for the regular icons, and it comes in the image of a Diamond.

Then there is the Forge Reel, and this is a horizontal reel, which appears as a modifier symbol. With the cascades, they can drop down to the game area, and this is how they work:

The multiplier will get a 1x boost.

It can transform some symbols into wilds.

Transforms symbols from the same row into extra wilds.

Vertical Splitter can appear to multiply the number of symbols present on its column.

Horizontal Splitter can multiply the number of icons coming from the same row.

With the help of Ruby scatters landing 3 to 5 times on the reels, I was rewarded with free spins (depending on the number of landed scatters, you can get 8 to 20 free spins), along with a prize of 40x the stake paid.

Theme & Design

The usual gemstone theme is what the developer has used on this slot machine. Forge of Gems hasn’t put in the effort to come up with something unique for players.

The reels have the usual low-paying Royals, with several gemstones that are decorated with complicated elements. Overall, the design is great, but don’t expect anything unique inside.

Conclusion

Forge of Gems has some great elements and fun features, but I find the theme boring.

However, if you are looking for huge pay-outs, then Foge of Gems is definitely a slot to check out.
