Game description

Fortress Charge Slot (Microgaming)

Fortress Charge Slot (Microgaming)Crazy Tooth Studio, in partnership with Microgaming, has another 2020 release. Fortress Charge is a mechanic that plays host to a few other titles, and it seems like a series that the developer is slowly but surely building.

It looks like the developer has borrowed from the Middle Ages, given the large presence of heroes and villains.

Game Set-Up

I find the set-up of this game quite unusual, as it relies on 6x3 reels, with only 3 active lines.

The highly volatile game comes with a very decent RTP, but surprisingly, there are No regular features on it.

Betting and Prizes

Bets here are set up directly, with no need of considering the number of lines. To place a bet, you will be required to use between $0.10 and $15 per spin.

The highest rewards that you can get here is 1,500x the stake, but with the help of multipliers, these can go to as high as 16,000 xs.

Fortress Charge comes with very volatility, but its RTP 96.45%, works well in cushioning you against its high risk.

Fortress Charge Slot Features

Fortress Charge uses the latest mechanic from Crazy Tooth Studio. With this mechanic, Reel Quest depends on the 3 rows that are covered with symbols, from where heroes advance on them. This goes on up to the point where they can hit the Fortress located on the right side.

The heroes mostly land on reel 1, like elves, knights, beasts, dwarfs, and dragons.  When they land, they move one position closer to the right side. Along the way, the hero can come across some weapons that they can use to fight the enemies. These accessories come in the form of collectable treasure chests and multipliers.

All are collected and if possible, they can be used. After they get to where the line ends, you will be awarded the top prize.

The game looks a little complex, and as you advance, you will be required to use the two weapons that you collected. This is what you will use against some enemies. The wand, however, will be used against all.

Additionally, heroes are kind of better against some types of enemies. With the help of random fireballs that drop from the top, you can be able to tackle the villains that come your way.

Theme & Design

Fortress Charge is a medieval-themed game. However, Crazy Tooth has implemented it uniquely, and we get to see a mix of heroes (knights, elf, dragons, beasts, and dwarf), villains (spikes, scorpions, boulders, snakes, and ogres), accessories (wands, spears, shields, and potions), treasure chests and finally multipliers.

The graphics and general design is a well-thought idea and the unique approach that the developer has applied work to its advantage.

Fortress Charge may look a little unusual, however. Its unique approach creates a lot of curiosity which makes a player want to go on and on. However, make sure you can handle the high volatility of this game before investing in it, as it can be a risky slot to play.
