Fortunium Gold: Mega Moolah (Microgaming)
This title is incredibly popular, and over the years, it has already managed to create millionaires in the gaming industry. However, the Mega Moolah seems to have lost its allure of great-looking graphics.
Microgaming has developed a new title in this genre, and it goes by the name Fortunium Gold.
Microgaming seems to have improved on the graphics of this slot, that also comes with a Steampunk-style theme.
Fortunium Gold: Mega Moolah has a 5x5 reel set-up and up to 40 active paylines. The wilds are among the features on this video slot: others are free spins, a Jackpot Wheel, and two types of mystery symbols.
Betting and Prizes
To start spinning the reels on Fortunium Gold: Mega Moolah, you will need at least $0.10 per spin, while the highest that you can use is $15 per single round.
There is a Win Booster option that allows you the opportunity to use an extra 50%, which will see you get much higher returns.
Payouts on this slot are not very impressive, and the highest that Microgaming offers is 800xs the take.
It’s a medium volatility slot, and it’s below-average RTP of 92.67% is way too low compared to what most modern slots offer.
Fortunium Gold: Mega Moolah Slot Features
Wild symbols appear in both jackpot, and regular versions, and you can use them to substitute the regular symbols.
The mystery symbols will come in two versions, which are gold and green. They come in stacked form, with a couple of matching symbols appearing on them.
If you only want the gold symbols, you can activate the Win Booster option. This will give you an extra 50% on the upcoming round’s wager.
For the Green mystery symbols, they will be changed into a single type of either high or low-value symbol.
On the other hand, the gold version will be changed into either Wilds or high symbols.
Scatter symbols will give you access to as many as 10 free spins. With 3 to 5 of these symbols landing anywhere on the reels, Fortunium Gold will give you payments of between 2x to 100x the stake.
The bonus game is the most valuable, and it appears as a gold Mystery symbol, which must transform into a Jackpot Wild for it to deliver its maximum potential. This is how you will get access to the Jackpot Wheel.
As the wheel spins, it will reveal the prize, which can be either the Mega Jackpot or one of the three additional options available. The Mega has a very high value, as much as 1 million GBP. Others have gone beyond the 10 million mark.
Theme & Design
Microgaming has used inspiration from the Steampunk-style universe. Among the symbols present are airships, guns, and steampunk-design treasure chests. There are the usual boring cards as well that have been used to represent the low-value symbols.
Fortunium Gold: Mega Moolah is an interesting game that has great potential. However, I’m not happy with Microgaming’s decision to offer a below-average RTP for a medium-volatile game.
