Fruit Box Slot (Amatic)
The classic fruit theme is very common, but to create some uniqueness on this slot, Amatic has changed the concept, and the developer has opted for box-shaped fruits.
The game may not be an original at all; however, the developer has tried to add a few things to make it less boring.
I was attracted by the box-shaped concept and I decided to try this slot to see how great Amatic has done with a fruit-themed slot, and here is my review:
From its design, it seems like Amatic was targeting the casual players. They have set Fruit Box slot on 5x4 reels, with up to50 active lines.
The slot is fair enough though, and given that it’s Low-Medium in volatility, it’s ideal for all levels of players.
The features that I got to work with include free spins, scatters, and stacked symbols.
Betting and Prizes
The slot allows you to select the number of active pay lines that you want to use, alongside the bet amount.
Fruit Box s relatively cheap to play and you can get started with as little as10 coins per spin. However, the game also allows for a higher bet amount with the maximum being 3,000 coins in a single spin.
Considering that it’s a Low-Medium volatility slot, its top rewards of 1,000x the stake is not bad for a less risky slot.
For its RTP, Amatic has mentioned a 95%, but a casino can adjust it up to 97.86%.
Fruit Box Slot Features
One of the things that I was quick to notice is the fact that the slot’s symbols land stacked. This is the case for both the regular and wilds.
As such, it makes forming multiple winning combos quite easy, and you can also be able to cover the slot’s screen with matching symbols more quickly. However, smaller wins may not come very easily.
The stacked wild symbol appears as a blue logo, and with it, you can be able to substitute inside. This comes in handy when you want to replace any of the available regular symbols.
The wild has some limitations as well, and one is that you cannot use it to replace a scatter, and neither is it able to deliver winnings on its own.
Scatters show up in the form of a BONUS word, and you need to land them on all five reels (5 symbols), and a reward of 5 to 15 rounds will come your way.
Theme & Design
Fruit Box slot has a simple and obvious theme, and it may not be very interesting especially to players who have already seen enough of the classic fruit slots. The only difference is the box shape, and everything else is basically the same.
Apart from the wild and bonus symbols, there are fruit icons like kiwi symbols, melons, and oranges, plus a few from the exotic side.
Two high-value symbols common on fruit-themed slots are available as well, and these are the Lucky and the Bar Logo.
Fruit Box is not a badly off classic slot; I love the fact that despite it being a low volatility slot, it offers good rewards.
However, its lack of intense action makes it suitable for casual gamers.
