Gems Gone Wild: Power Reels Slot (Red Tiger)
Red Tiger has teamed up with R7 to create a slot by the name Gems Gone Wild: Power Reels. The slot has a simple gemstone inspired design and only a couple of features.
I got a taste of this slot, and after playing it a couple of time, here is my review:
Gems Gone Wild: Power Reels has one of the most interesting game set-ups. The slot is set on 8x6 reels, with up to 30 pay lines.
The slot does not have very many features, and the only available feature is the wild that comes in several variations. These include locked, regular, and super versions.
Betting and Prizes
Betting is a simple and straightforward undertaking, and all that you are required to do is to select the amount that you are comfortable betting with.
The price varies but it’s between $0.10 and $20 per spin. The base rewards may not be as exciting, but with the help of the features, you could get as much as 3,000x the stake ($60,000).
Given its medium volatility, Gems Gone Wild: Power Reels strikes a good balance between the risk involved, and the jackpot that you can take home.
The RTP is a bit of a concern though, and the developer has offered it at 95.68%.
Gems Gone Wild: Power Reels Slot Features
The slot has 30 active lines on its 8x6 reels. To get the best out of it, you will require up to 8 similar symbols on the same line.
A good example is when you decide to form a combo using 3+ symbols as long as the adjacent icons show up on the same line.
Since the symbols land stacked, you can be able to trigger several wins; however, you must have at least three stacks that are adjacent on the reels.
Then comes the regular wild symbol that will offer some help, same with the Super Wilds (these come in large sizes of 2x2 and 3x3), or even the slot’s Locked Wilds.
Locked Wilds are randomly triggered, and they can just show up on the reels. If the next round is accompanied by additional wilds, both the new and the old are merged and locked. This can potentially increase wins.
Theme & Design
The game uses a very common gemstone style theme, and its design is also very popular modern slots.
However, it appears to use a modern approach, although the colourful gems do not help in making it entertaining.
From a distance, Gems Gone Wild: Power Reels a looks quite interesting, however, the massive use of gems on its reels doesn’t quite make it fun to most players.
The RTP is equally disastrous, and given that the slot comes with some significant risk, it’s only suitable for casual players.
