To place a real money bet on this slot, you will need at least $0.10 per spin. I was tempted to use the maximum that is $100 but on noticing how highly volatile the game is, I stuck with much lower bets.

Gods of Rock Features

The large game area 6x5 uses the Connected Pay Ways system, and to form a winning combo, I was required to form clusters of 3+ symbols whenever they landed left to right. These must also be adjacent to each other (horizontally or diagonally). In total, you get 466 lines.

The wild symbol serves as a substitute, and the game offers Charged Wilds as well. These also serve as substitutes, but I managed to use them as a boost to the multiplier (by between 1x and 11x).

With a couple of multipliers on the same combo, the values will be multiplied by each other. The multipliers will then reset once a paid spin ends.

As symbols burst, they are collected into the meter. Once, it fills up, you get to trigger up to 8 free spins. While in this mode, the multiplier doesn’t reset between spins. To win an extra spin (up to 3 actually), you can fill the meter again.

Thunderkick has included another great feature known as Wild Encore. This one trigger once you fill-up the available bonus meter to a certain level. As many as 3 Charged Wilds get added to the game area.

Theme & Design

For a slot that has borrowed inspiration from rock music, it’s only natural for the developer to use a background image as the centre of the action.

Gods of Rock is a well-designed game, with great symbols like Royals, images of musicians who appear like they are inspired by the ancient deities (Ancient Greek, Vikings, and Egyptian).

Conclusion

Gods of Rock is an awesome slot machine with a unique collection of features. I love its potential too, not to forget the above-average RTP that makes it a great choice to all levels of players.

However, you also need to be cautious with its volatility that can be quite high.
