Hells Hogs Slot (Yggdrasil)

Hells Hogs Slot (Yggdrasil)Hell's Hogs is a joint release, as many of the new slot games are being produced right now. Reflex Gaming developed it, and Yggdrasil is hosting it on their platform, so they're essentially running the show.

It works out quite well, and the end product is a biker-themed video slot. It's not uncommon, but it's still unusual, and it's a videogame in which pigs are once again the main characters (it's happened before).

Join me as I take you through this honest review about the Hells Hog slot:

Game Set-Up

Hell’s Hogs has a simple 5x3 grid, with up to 20 active lines. It’s a slot with great features that include Free spins bonus, Bonus Multiplier, Mystery Symbols, Trailing Wilds, Increasing Multiplier, Stacked Symbols, and regular Wilds.

Betting and Prizes

For real money gambling, you have the option of placing bets of between $0.20 and $100 per spin.

What I love most about Hell’s Hogs is the fact that it’s a low volatility slot that also offers excellent rewards. The highest that you can land on the slot is 10,136x the stake, which is excellent when compared to the low risk of the slot.

The only downside is the 95.60% RTP that the developer has given this slot machine.

Hell’s Hogs Slot Features

A Wild logo will appear on the reels and it will act as a replacement for regular symbols.

There are also the mystery symbols, which have a garage door that opens to reveal one of the slot's standard icons inside. Three Pig symbols will activate features for you, and each one works as a scatter symbol, appearing 3 times to award you with something extra.

Initially, we get Piggy In The Middle, and this is a pig biker who is busy smoking a cigar. Landing 3+ on the reels triggers the feature. You get started with the option to push the Stop button, to receive prizes and extra modifiers.

There is a cash prize with the possibility to double their value, in addition to boosts that will grow their value up to 42x the stake, per each.

The other is the Wild Ride feature and you use the pig to trigger it. The bonus symbols must land at least three times (on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th reels). This will also include the Sliding Super Wilds which offers up to 5 spins, with each one coming with the Sliding Wilds in different places (on reels 1 to 3 at a time).

Lastly is the Biker Bash, and with it, you get a pig biker with a helmet that has wings. You will need 3+ yet again, to activate this feature. This one has a good offer of 10 free spins, plus a multiplier that can go as high as 30x. The best part is that it can be retriggered.

Theme & Design

It may be a biker-themed video slot, but it will feature three pigs as the riders, which is the most fun part.  This takes us through the desert on Route 76, which we can see in the background.

The feature symbols include wilds, three Pig bonus triggers, and the mystery symbol. There are four low-value card suits (neon in appearance), a jukebox, a game logo, and the Fire Wheel.

Conclusion

I think the developer did a splendid job with Hell’s Hogs. It seems to tick all the correct boxes, but its low RTP suggests that it’s a slot that is more suitable for casual players.
