Hustling Slot (Red Tiger)

Hustling Slot (Red Tiger)If you've been paying attention to gaming trends this year, you'll quickly notice the likely place where the developer got the inspiration for this title.

Hustling is a video slot with pay both ways gaming mechanism, and it features a West Coast rapper against an East Coast artist.

It’s an interesting concept that got me attracted to the game, and this is my experience playing Hustling for real money;

Game Set-Up

In Hustling, the action takes place on the common 5-reel grid, with 3-rows, and for the features, Red Tiger has included things like Free spins bonus, Wilds, Increasing Multiplier, Multiplier Wilds, Stacked Symbols, and Win Both Ways.

Betting and Prizes

To place real money bets, I needed stakes of between $0.20 and $20 per spin. It is a slot with relatively high volatility, and I was expecting better payouts and not the 3,000xs the stake that the developer has given it.

The RTP of 95% makes things even more complex.

Hustling Slot Features

In Hustling, super wild symbols replace regular pay symbols and activate free spins. Both reels appear to be fully stacked, with all positions on each reel covered.

The West Wild can only show up on the leftmost reel, whereas the East Wild can only appear on the rightmost reel. When a Super Wild appears on the reels, it becomes locked for one spin.

Then we have the Free Spins, and these are always my more preferred feature. When Super Wilds appear on both reels at the same time, you will be awarded 10 free spins. Before they can start, you will be required to choose between the West Wild and the East Wild.

Both wilds are locked in place for the period of the bonus spin and begin with an x1 win multiplier. Whenever a Super Wild contributes to a win, the multiplier increases by one.

Theme and Design

Shifting our focus on the pay symbols, Hustling offers quite a number of interesting icons to the world including five low-value graffiti-styled card royals (10-A), shoes, Hats, a gold dollar sign neckpiece, spray cans, and a ghetto blaster.

It's nearly impossible not to make comparisons between Hustling and East Coast vs West Coast, even though the two slots provide different avenues for players to go all 'gangster.'

They both have excellent hip-hop, sneakers-and-spray-paint aesthetic, but ECvsWC has a stronger, more original style, as well as a considerably better soundtrack.

Hustling is also less volatile, and also, it is limited in how far it can go compared to ECvsWC, so it may be a better choice for gamers who wouldn't mind smaller wins.
