Knight Rider Slot (NetEnt)

Knight Rider Slot (NetEnt)Knight Rider was a popular TV series in the 80s, and it is somehow making a comeback thanks to creative slot developers like NetEnt.

This developer was lucky to get the rights to this popular brand, and with the great experience that they have had in the industry over the years, you can only expect the very best from them.

I was excited to come across the Knight Rider slot by NetEnt, and I got a chance to spin it for real money on my favourite online casino.

Here is my review of the slot:

Game Set-Up

Knight Rider offers a 5x4 reels grid, and on it are 26 active lines. It has several major features that include scatters, Multiplier Walking Wild, Free Spins, random Turbo Boost modifiers, and Laser Wilds.

Betting and Prizes

Spinning real money rounds on Knight Rider will set you back $0.20, but this can go up to $40 per round.

Knight Rider allows payouts of up to 7,000x the stake, but I also found the slot to be highly volatile. However, it has a high level of fairness as it offers a decent RTP of 96.07%.

Knight Rider Slot Features

The wild symbol is among the main features here, and it plays several roles. The first is the role of a substitute, where it replaces other regular icons. Also, the wild feature on Knight Rider applies a multiplier to the win.

Knight Rider has a scatter symbol as well, and this one will only land on the 2nd to the 4th reels.  It is what I used to trigger some free spins, but these were only rewarded to me after I had landed 3 of them. I was happy to receive 10 free spins.

While in the free spins mode, you may occasionally collect some Knights that appear on those reels. This is a great step that will boost you to the next level (you will require up to 3 Knights each time, while the highest that you can get to is level 4). For each upgrade, you get 2 free spins, plus an additional Laser Wild.

Theme & Design

The thing that I love most about NetEnt is the way they design their slots. Knight Rider offers a retro theme, but the developer has handled this with utmost creativity.

They made sure that this game clearly captured the 80s vibe, but the design is somehow modern.

Royals (10 to A) have been included in the lower-paying section, and in the premium section, we get Michael, Truck, Lights, Digit Watch, and KITT’s Steering Wheel. Scatters and Wilds serve as the feature symbols.

Overall, Knight Rider is an excellent casino game with all the appropriate retro graphics.

I love the mix of special features that have been included which make it a fun game to play. Although the top jackpot does not quite manage to blend with the high volatility of the game, I’m very impressed by the decent RTP, especially considering that a majority of branded slots are a little pricey to produce.
