Mayhem Slot (Red Tiger)

Mayhem Slot (Red Tiger)Do you love and enjoy the post-apocalyptic landscapes? If this is the case then you have an opportunity to try a slot that borrows from that theme.

Mayhem is the name of the slot, and it was developed by Red Tiger. I find the design more of a comic book style, but we will explore it more in this review:

Game Set-Up

Mayhem runs on 5 reels, and up to 20 active lines. The feature inside include scatters, wilds, scatters, modifiers, and some Anarchy free spins that come with multipliers.

Betting and Prizes

Mayhem allows a betting range of between $0.10 and $100 per spin. I’m a little concerned about the low payout that Red Tiger has given this title, especially since it’s a modern slot with medium to high volatility.

The RTP also doesn’t offer much and 95.71% is way below what we get from many modern slot titles.

Mayhem Slot Features

Cash Queen Wild is one of the available features here, and it will land in stacked form (on reel 3). This wild covers all available positions, and as usual, you get it as a substitute for the regular icons.

Mayhem is not a very feature-rich slot, and the only other feature that Red Tiger gave it is Anarchy Spins. To trigger this, you need to land three scatters on reels 1, 3, and 5.

When done successfully, the result will be a reward of 10 Anarchy Free Spins. Every additional scatter will earn you an extra 1 round.

The key benefit of this feature is in its sticky form as it appears as a sticky wild reel on the slot’s 3rd column. Although you still get some respins from it, the best is the multiplier that begins at 2x, increasing by 1x with each triggered respin. The highest that the multiplier can go is 10xs.

Theme & Design

Mayhem resembles the Borderlands, an earlier post-apocalyptic story, but that is more of a video game. As mentioned earlier, the design borrows from comic book-style visuals.

Mayhem offers Royals as the low-pay symbols, but we also get better-paying ones in the images of a grenade (which has a barbed wire), a mouth, a dollar sign, and a spiked helmet. The Cash Queen Wild serves as the feature symbol.

Conclusion

Red Tiger is respected for its creativity, and on most of its slots, the graphics do not disappoint.

The features here are not all that many, but they seem to get the job done. However, the real disappointment is in the low pay-outs, and the low RTP doesn’t seem to offer much help.

This slot would be most beneficial to casual players.
