Welcome on board as we take a closer look at this new release by Novomatic. After taking some time off my busy schedule to try my hand on this slot, below is my review:

This slot comes with a medium to high volatility, with an RTP of 95%.

The mighty phoenix is well placed on the reels, and he looks like the real king on this slot whose design is in the heart of Asia.

Phoenix Fortune offers a jackpot but to get to it, you will need to go up to the 4th level of this slot. To get there, you are required to do a search for the blue and red phoenix amongst a number of beautifully designed golden symbols.

To place a wager, you will need a minimum of £0.5 and a Maximum of £50 per spin.  Phoenix Fortune slot offers a top payout of 5832 xs. This can lead to very high winnings.

I love the colour combination, and given the Chinese love for the bright hues, Novomatic has done well with the colours, and this slot uses a lot of Red and Gold colours.

To trigger the Free Games, you will need at least 3 Gong symbols. This in return awards you with 10 Free Games and you can only play them with picture symbols. At this stage, you will notice that some symbols like the Ace, Jack, King, Queen, 9 as well as J10 will disappear from the reels.

Phoenix Fortune 4 Level Jackpot

Novomatic offers a jackpot for this slot and to trigger it, you can randomly use any of the slot’s symbols that appear in Blue or Red. Afterwards, you will notice up to 12 Medallions on the slot’s screen. To uncover them, just click on each, and you will be able to get 3 matching symbols that are required for you to win the jackpot.

The jackpot comes in 3 versions which are Grand Jackpot, Major Jackpot, and finally the Mini/Minor Jackpot. Both the Grand Jackpot and Major Jackpot are offred as progressive jackpots. This means that the amount in them keeps on rising until a time when there is a winner.

Conclusion

Novomatic has developed some of the best slot games in the market. However, for the Phoenix Fortune, I must admit I was not impressed at all. The slot comes with an RTP that is way below the market range, and its high volatility does not help much.
