Powers of Gods: Egypt comes in as the second title in a series that Wazdan is developing.

The first title (The Pantheon) in this series was based on Ancient Greece mythology.

Both slots offer excellent graphics, great features, and fairly high payouts. I got an opportunity to try out the Powers of Gods: Egypt, and below is my review:

Game Set-Up

Wazdan has used a relatively common setup of 5 reels with up to 243 ways to win.

For the feature, the developer has included four variants of free spins, scatters as well as wilds.

On the betting options provided, you will be able to select the value that you are comfortable using.

The least that this slot allows per spin is $0.20, and the highest that you will be able to use is $100 per spin. This betting range is quite good because it caters to both high rollers, and casual players.

In the recent past Wazdan has released several slots and I have had the opportunity to try most of them. From my experience, Powers of Gods: Egypt seems to be the best performer, especially when it comes to the jackpot.

Wazdan has given this title a top jackpot of 12,500x the stake, an amount that is quite attractive to modern players.

Wazdan allows customization for the volatility level, and for the RTP the developer has offered a 96.12%, which is within the average in the market.

Power of Gods: Egypt Slot Features

Wild symbols are among the symbols present on this title, and you will get them in both their own logo as well as in the image of Horus.

It is the Wild symbol that you use as substitutes for the regular symbols, but not the Special symbols.

The wild and the scatter symbols will come alongside four types of free spins. Each type represents each of the mentioned gods, and they are Bastet, Ra, Isis, and Sobek.

There are different ways of earning the free spins, and one such way is via the scatters. You will need to land the scatter between 3 and 5 times to be rewarded with some free spins. This is how the free spins work;

Sobek: this one relies on the 2x wild multipliers, but with additional duties like the shifting reels, it is possible for the prizes to go to as high as 7x with increasing multipliers. This package will require at least 3 scatters, and you will be rewarded with 15 free spins.

Isis: this one will give you a 3x multiplier that will come via the expanding wilds. This option will require 4+ scatters, and it will reward you with up to 12 free spins.

Bastet: the option will boost rewards by up to 4x wild multipliers, alongside offering a Multi-Level Wins, in addition to an Infinity Multiplier.

The multiplier will increase each time a win forms, and you will have the tumbling reels mechanic to help with new wins.  This option will require 15 scatters, and the rewards are 10 free spins.

Ra: The last option will trigger differently whereby; you will be required to pick available Scarabs from the reels.  When this happens, the counter will get a boost of 1.

This must be done in consecutive rounds, otherwise, the meter resets. Upon filling it with up to 7 scarabs, you earn yourself a cool 7 free spins, with a multiplier of 7x.

Theme & Design

Wazdan has not provided anything new as far as the theme is concerned. Powers of Gods Egypt uses Ancient Egyptian mythology with the main focus being on the deities of Ra, Isis, Bastet, and Sobek.

In addition to the Scarabs, the developer has used Royals as well, and I’m impressed by the high quality of the slot’s graphics.

Conclusion

Power of Gods: Egypt slot is a slot with massive potential, and especially when you bring the free spins into play.

The slot also does well with its top payouts, and I can recommend it to all levels of players.
