Sabres and Swords Charge Slot (Yggdrasil)
Sabres and Swords Charge is an addition to the Gigablox series, and it comes to you via Yggdrasil. This developer designed the slot in partnership with Dreamtech Gaming.
It features the usual war-themed graphics that takes us many years back, to the 19th century.
I have played all other slots in this series, and I had to try this one too. Here is my unbiased review of Sabres and Swords:
Yggdrasil has gone with a big game area of 6x6 reels, that supports up to 50 active lines. The slot uses regular as well as mega symbols, among them, free spins, scatters, as well as multipliers.
Betting and Prizes
I had lots of fun playing the slot for real money and the least amount that I could put in each spin was $0.25. The slot allows bets as high as $100 in one spin.
The game’s high volatility may not favour you with the top prizes, but if it is your lucky day, you can take home as much as 2,880x the stake ($288,000) from one round.
The RTP of 96.11% present helps in managing the medium to high volatility of this machine.
Sabres and Swords Charge Features
As I have mentioned, Sabres and Swords Charge offers both regular, and mega symbols.
The mega one will cover anywhere between 2x2 to 6x6 positions. This means that the slot has lots of active lines, and this makes it a lot easier to form lots of wins.
Wild symbols are here too, and as usual, they act as replacements for the regular icons.
And then, we have the scatters as well, and I love this feature because I know with its help, I can trigger some free spins. With just 5 of these, I was happy to receive some free spins.
One other important feature from the free spins is the Gigablox Multiplier, which gets assigned to the mega symbols landing on the reels.
You will only get the multiplier in one Gigablox, even if you have several in view. Depending on the size, Gigablox with sizes 2x2 to 6x6 receive 2x to 6x multipliers.
Theme & Design
Obviously, the slot is a war-themed machine, and the graphics appear to be from the battlefields of the past. It is a slot that takes us some centuries back, probably the 19th or early 20th century.
I love the design, and the general look of this title, plus the interesting symbols of toy-looking soldiers.
For the symbols, there is a Cannon Wild, some Sabre scatters four soldier icons, plus some four medals.
I enjoyed playing this new release that was created by Dreamtech and Yggdrasil; it's a video slot that feels unique when compared to others, and it's intriguing to see how its features work together to get you paid.
However, the part that I didn’t find fun was in its low maximum jackpot, but overall, it’s a good slot to try.
