Sahara Nights Slot Review (Yggdrasil)
Sahara Nights is a story of Aladdin that Yggdrasil Gaming has developed. This new and gorgeous release is adorned with magic lamps and treasures which are all created in an Arabic setting.
For this slot, Yggdrasil uses 5-reels and 20 active lines. Sahara Nights offer fair pay-out and you can expect up to 3,500x total stake (per spin). I also found the RTP of this slot to be quite good given that it is 96.20% which is within the industry’s standard.
I wouldn’t say that Sahara Nights has high volatility because, in my experience, this slot is of medium volatility. Yggdrasil has used a lot of features on this video slot and some of the ones that I came cross include free spins, regular wilds, scatters, and sticky or stacked wilds.
Betting and Prizes
The betting range is within what is regularly offered by other slots and it ranges between $0.20 and $100 per spin: with each line bet getting as high as $5.
With the Sahara Nights slots, the maximum you can expect in terms of pay-out is 175x the total stake. This in short means that, if you are able to fill the screen with the right symbols, then you could walk away with up to 3,500x total stake. Assuming it’s your lucky day and you decide to use the maximum bet amount of 100, then this is a cool $350,000 in prizes.
Sahara Nights Slot Features
The Magic Lamp is one of the features that I came across and it also has a major role. This is the symbol that I used as a wild symbol and it assisted me in forming a number of winning combos.
It only appears on the middle three reels and hence, it cannot be used to pay you directly. However, The Magic Lamp is also the expanding wild: this means that you can use it on all the 20 active lines to form winning combinations.
The scatter symbols appear as a Story Book and these come on all the five reels. To trigger the free spins, you will be required to land on at least three: and if you manage that, then you will be awarded between 8 and 16 free spins, in addition to other rewards that go up to 1,000x the total stake.
Theme & Design
The Arabic style theme that Yggdrasil has used on this slot is not new in the industry. There are many slots with this same theme and maybe Yggdrasil used some of them to get inspiration for this particular slot. The slot has both low and high-value symbols and the low-value symbols come in the form of gemstones (red, orange, green and blue) while the high-value symbols are swords, the princess, goblets, Aladdin and the Sultan. There are additional two extra symbols that you can use as a trigger and one contains a Magic Lamp Wild while the other one has a Book scatter.
I played Sahara Nights and I must admit I was not thrilled by the storyline which is a little boring. However, the features are excellent and the graphics together with the slot’s RTP were my greatest motivator.
