The Thunderstruck series remains one of the most popular from Microgaming’s (Games Global). The developer keeps on growing their list of top-notch slots, and one of their latest releases is Thunderstruck Stormchaser.

The slot was developed in collaboration with Stormcraft Studios, and once again, we get to work with a Viking theme.

Microgaming remains one of my favourite slot developers, and I was happy to try out this title for real money. Here is more about Thunderstruck Stormchaser:

Game Set-Up

The slot is set on 5x4 reels, with up to 1,024 ways to win. Some of it’s major features free spins, multipliers, and Wildstorm.

Betting and Prizes

With as little as $0.20, I was happy to spin its reels for real money. The highest amount that can go to each spin is $25.

As for the top reward, Thunderstruck Stormchaser promises payments of up to 10,200x the stake, from a single spin.

Thunderstruck Stormchaser Slot Features

Rolling Reels are one of the major features of this slot machine. It removes winning symbols and replaces them with new ones.

Theme & Design

The story here talks about Thor’s journey to Ragnarok's battlefield.  He is searching for Ginger, his father’s spear so as to get to the throne of Asgard.

He will get some help from Thyra, a respected goddess of wild storms.  Thunderstruck Stormchaser has runestones symbols with Royals on them. The better-paying ones have the image of Thor, Asgard, Thyra, Yggdrasil, as well as the throne.

Conclusion

Microgaming has done well here, and from my experience with Thunderstruck Stormchaser, I can say that the slot game is a great addition to the series.

Everything seems to be in order, but I would have preferred more ambitious top payouts for an online slot of this calibre. Overall, it’s a good pick for all levels of players.
