Vegas Megaways Slot (Big Time Gaming)

This is not the first Vegas-themed slot game that we are getting from Big Time Gaming. The developer has had earlier releases, especially their popular slot, the Slots Vegas Megaquads that was released back in 2020.

For this new title, BTG has combined a Vegas theme with their popular Megaways engine, and I will share my findings about the game in the unbiased review below:

Game Set-Up

Vegas Megaways relies on the standard Megaways engine, and by this, I mean that you will be working with 6 reels which will play host to up to 117,649 ways to win.

On the list of features are things like scatters, wild symbols, free spins, and winning reactions.

Betting and Prizes

To enjoy some real money bets from the slot, you will be allowed to place wagers of between $0.20 and $20 per spin.

Vegas Megaways is a slot with great payout potential, and a single bet has the potential to pay as much as 72,310x the stake.

However, the slot is quite high in volatility which makes it a little too risky to play. BTG has been kind enough with the RTP though, and you will be able to work with up to 96.27%.

Vegas Megaways Slot Features

As usual with the Megaways concept, the number of ways to win are random, and on one spin you may get 2, while in another 6. This is how you end up with up to 117,649 ways to win.

The developer has also included an extra horizontal reel, which will appear at the bottom of the middle four columns, and not at the top as we are used to seeing.

I noticed that the usual Reactions are also applied in this case, and this allows the winning symbols to be removed, with a new batch appearing in the empty spaces.

There is a wild feature as well, and this will appear in the horizontal reel located below the middle reels. As usual with the wild feature, you will use it to substitute the regular icons as you form winning combos.

The main feature here seems to be the free spins, which you will activate with the help of scatters. Free pins are always my favourite feature on any slot, and I was happy to receive some while playing Vegas Megaways.

I needed between 3 and 6 scatters to trigger 8 to 50 free spins, but this also depended on the level of the ladder I was at. The higher the ladder as you get started, the higher up on the ladder you will be. The MAX level can be triggered with the help of the free spins.

While in the free spins mode, you can get the increasing multiplier feature. With it, you will enjoy a 1x boost after every triggered Reaction.

The best part is that you can retrigger this feature using some of the scatters that show up within the horizontal reel (3 or 4 times). This way, you can get up to 8 extra spins.

Theme & Design

The slot has a Las Vegas theme, and the most appropriate and obvious setup would be one inside a casino. On both sides of the reels are rows of slot machines coming from a casino floor. On each of these reels are 7 symbols, along with an extra one at the bottom.

Present symbols on this slot include 9-A low-value Royals, plus other better-paying ones like lucky horseshoes, images of four-leaf clovers, cherries, plus a couple of top-paying diamonds.

Conclusion

Vegas Megaways comes with a decent RTP, exceptionally huge rewards, plus some very good features that are enough to make it an interesting slot for all levels of players.
