Wish Upon a Jackpot Megaways is a game is a new slot game by Blueprint, and it’s quite similar to a previous game that they released back in 2013.

The new release uses the Megaways concept, and it’s an attractive slot game for players who are looking for high jackpot games.

Below is my review of Wish upon a Jackpot Megaways:

Game Set-Up

Wish Upon a Jackpot Megaways has a very large gaming area, and the slot is built on 6-reels with up to 117,649 Megaways.  

From the look of things, the slot is medium in volatility, and among its features are wilds, free spins, various bonus features, and cascading reels.  

Betting and Prizes

To place a wager, you will need to select the bet amount of between $0.20 and $100. Regardless of the amount, all the potential megaways on this slot will be covered.

Wish Upon a Jackpot Megaways is a very generous slot game, and the highest payout potential that you can receive here is $250,000. However, this is a cap that has been placed by the developer, and it’s a common thing that we see on most megaways slots.

Besides, there is also the option to use as much as $5 per spin, which allows you to get the highest return of 50,000x the stake.

Its medium volatility means that there is some level of risk involved. Blueprint offers an RTP of 95.50%, which is below what many megaways offer.

Wish Upon a Jackpot Megaways Slot Features

Among its features are the Cascading Reels, and with them, winning symbols will be removed and replaced, as you form combos.

Regular wild symbols are present as well, and they can be used to substitute the regular symbols.

Then there is the Fairy Godmother Spins. These can be randomly triggered, with a few exceptions where you are allowed to make a selection. This will then determine the feature that will appear next.

Some interesting features can appear which include: Golden Arrow Mystery Spin (these are mystery icons that are added to the slot’s reels, and you can get up100 of such), Pigs Can Fly (these are some extra wilds) or you can get the Magic Beanstalk (these are extra stacked wilds that come with large multipliers of 7 xs).

The Fairy Godmother will deliver the free spins, but before this happens, you will be required to land at least 3 scatter symbols on the reels.  This will give you up to10 rounds, in addition to a modifier (from the three random options that I have mentioned above).

Theme & Design

For Wish upon a Jackpot Megaways, Blueprint has opted to go with a fairy tale theme.

The slot seems to borrow from several stories that we grew up with, and you will find a little bit of everything on it. For example, there is Cinderella’s show next, Jack’s magic beanstalk for one, along with several Royals (representing the low-value symbols), logos and musical instruments.

Conclusion

Wish Upon a Jackpot Megaways doesn’t seem to perform very badly. The slot offers a high jackpot, and its visuals are quite stunning.

However, I’m not happy with Blueprints decision to offer such a low RTP for a slot game with medium volatility.
