Fire Hopper Slot Review (Push Gaming)
Push Gaming is a developer to keep an eye on, and while they don't release many new slot games often, the quality of each one is excellent.
A frog theme will be involved in their new slot titled Fire Hopper. Also, there is a bit of that fire element, but not very visible for the most part.
Here is my full review of Fire Hopper:
Game Set-Up
Fire Hopper uses a very modern setup that relies on the Cluster Pays concept. There are 7x7 reels with great features like cascading reels, free spins, multipliers, and several types of wilds.
Betting and Prizes
Most modern slot machines have a lot of potentials, and Fire Hopper is not any different.
To place a real money bet, I had the option to use any amount between 0.10 and $100 per spin. I’m quite impressed by the potential here, as Fire Hopper can pay up to 50,000x the stake, from one spin.
Although the high volatility may not be very favourable, Push Gaming has given the game an RTP of 96.30% which is perfect for the level of risk involved.
Fire Hopper Slot Features
What you get are 7x7 reels with the ability to form combinations anytime 5+ matching icons are grouped. They must connect either horizontally or vertically.
Since the slot uses Cascading reels, they will remove the winning symbols and replace them with new ones. The process will go on until there are no more new wins.
The appearance of Frog symbols on the reels signals that help is on the way, and this is possible with the formation of clusters. These symbols serve as substitutes for the regular icons, which means that they are the slot’s wilds. Fire Hopper has two versions of these, regular and a gold one.
Then there is the Leaping Frog feature, which requires both the Frog and the Firefly symbols on the reels. The wild Frog will then attack the Fireflies, resulting in the appearance of a Gold Frog Wild in those spots. For every Frog Wild jump, I got a multiplier boost of 1x.
That same Frog is also capable of jumping on instant prize icons, and these have the potential to pay up to 1,000x the stake. The multiplier will also apply to this prize as well.
A bonus version of the Firefly appears in the game as well, and it may result in the same leaps as the Frog on it. This time, the outcome will be a bonus round with 7 free spins.
You get started with the Frog's triggering multiplier and then increase from there. The Frogs remain sticky on the reels. A further difference is that the new Gold Frogs appearing as a result of the Leaping Frog mechanic come with the frog's multiplier.
Theme & Design
This is a very well-designed slot game and I love the great look of the pond from above. On this pond are lotus flowers, and frogs can sometimes jump on them. I really liked the graphics in Fire Hopper, although the fire isn't very visible.
Fire Hopper comprises a range of symbols that resemble various types of frogs and fireflies, but it will largely rely on lotus flowers. These can be purple, pink, red, green, orange, or blue.
Conclusion
Fire Hopper is another of Push Gaming's usual excellent slot machines, delivering a highly volatile experience that can also trigger one of the most astounding top jackpots.
